We’re delighted to share a heart-warming success story that demonstrates how we empower people, business, community support and collaboration! Thanks to our strategic partnerships with a number of key business partners and through vital sponsorship. North West based Genuine Futures CIC has recently launched their ‘Big Charity Pop Up Car Wash Events with the unwavering support of BizSpace, the flexible workspace experts supporting UK business growth.
Through the launch of this initiative, this will be the epicentre of our employment, training and support services; fostering skill development and creating meaningful opportunities for young people and providing a service to our communities.
We are providing opportunities for young people that we support to develop transferable employment skills, a work ethic, team building and confidence, whilst delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
We’ve already conducted three highly successful charity car cleaning events across Manchester, and most recently at BizSpace centre in Hollingwwod Oldham, receiving positive feedback and enthusiasm from participants, businesses and the local community.
Our next steps will be to engage with relevant employers to create valuable connections and provide more opportunities for our young people.
To further expand our impact, we are working to transform this initiative into a more sustainable enterprise providing vehicle cleaning services which will create employment opportunities for our young people.
Local business GWB consultants co-founders, Peter Broughton and Gavin Garner have shown no hesitation in pledging their full support.
Gavin Garner co-founder and director of GWB consultants said; “Brilliant absolutely great. Really pleased with what they have done with the van. I think it’s great the work they do getting young kids into that kind of strong work ethic. Showing them how to deal with people, how to look after people’s property.
I think that business’ needs to get involved in this kind of thing, it’s encouraging young people to learn how we’re doing things, to get exposure to us. How to run a successful enterprise, how to deal with people on a daily basis, turn up, do a good job, and take the rewards.”
We are facilitating further charity car wash events across the North West with dates now confirmed for Blackpool, Preston, Manchester and Cheadle in from April 2024.
Our Director Mike Alleyne is spearheading employer engagement efforts, raising awareness and reaching out to local businesses fostering partnerships with pledges of support.
This initiative exemplifies our commitment to creating positive social impact raise our awareness whist providing meaningful opportunities for the next generation.
