Inspiring Young People Of Manchester
Posted on:
At our recent Meet & Motivate Inspiring Speakers initiative by Genuine Futures invigorated and inspired students through powerful narratives and guidance shared by our motivational speakers.
Our speakers spoke of their personal journeys and brought them to the forefront of the participants, offering relatable and real-life experiences that demonstrate to students how they too can realise their dreams.
The event encouraged students to discover their best selves, focuses on nurturing self-love, forging a vision and understanding how daily habits can lay the foundation for both academic and personal triumphs. Additionally, it guided the young people in navigating and surmounting real-life obstacles.
Manchester is a young, diverse and vibrant city. 42% of the City’s population is aged 25 or under, Manchester is home to world-class cultural institutions, and Manchester is the third fastest growing economy in the UK.
45% of children in Manchester are currently living in poverty. The impact of the pandemic, the cost of living crisis, and the way systems are currently working are restricting young people’s ability to thrive and reach their potential. So it was important for the team at Genuine Futures to put on this event today to inspire and empower the young people of Manchester.
Genuine Futures designs and delivers services that empowers, inspires and motivates igniting the spark of resilience raising the aspirations in people of all ages within our communities.
Our sole purpose and focus is empowering local communities and helping disadvantaged young people (and adults) to have a brighter, genuine future through the delivery of personal development, mentoring and wellbeing programmes.
The Young People who took part in the event left feeling energised with a renewed mindset and the feedback from the participants was extremely positive.
Trevor from Blackley said; “The event gave me a life changing opportunity for my job and future career.”
