We’re thrilled to share an incredible story of engagement and success from the Genuine Futures Taste of Enterprise programme! This programme is specifically designed for students in years 9, 10, and 11 to explore their potential and develop valuable skills.

Janette Hilton, the safeguarding lead at Aurora School, shared a truly inspiring anecdote: Dan, a student who typically finds it challenging to stay engaged in classes or social settings for more than 10 minutes, participated in a Taste of Enterprise session and was captivated for two whole hours!

The Breakthrough:
The Genuine Futures Taste of Enterprise programme created an environment where Dan felt comfortable, motivated, and genuinely interested. This highlights the power of tailored programmes and hands-on experiences in unlocking a student’s potential. The session ignited his curiosity and demonstrated that learning can be engaging and rewarding.

The Challenge:
• Short attention span
• Difficulty engaging
• Limited participation
