At Genuine Futures, our mission is rooted in a profound belief in the inherent potential of every individual, regardless of their background or circumstance. We are driven by a passionate dedication to empowering lives within our communities, especially those who have faced difficult obstacles and barriers that hindered their journey to success.
We firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to break free from limitations and build a brighter, more fulfilling, and genuine future for themselves. No one should be left behind, and we are committed to supporting and transforming those who have fallen through the gaps, struggling to find their place in educational and societal settings.
Central to our vision is the creation of a truly supportive and inclusive community, where individuals can feel safe, embraced, and empowered to be their authentic selves. We understand that true growth happens when people feel valued, respected, and encouraged to pursue their passions and dreams
Individuals and businesses can get involved by volunteering, donating, or sponsoring one of our programs. By supporting Genuine Futures, you are investing in the future of our community and the young people who will shape it. Join us in making a difference and get involved today!
The most direct way to support the work Genuine Futures do within the community would be to make a direct donation to us either at a fund raising event or via our charity donation page. This can be a one-off or a recurring donation. This money goes directly to supporting the young people and the programs we run.
Businesses or individuals can become a sponsor. This could be sponsoring a program or workgroup, providing resources or materials needed for that particular program. Or you could take a young person under your wing and sponsor them directly and accompany them along their journey.
These options can often be tailored and bespoke to whatever you feel best suits you or your business
Volunteering your time or resources is a powerful way to make a difference in the lives of young people. By sharing your skills and expertise, you can help them to develop new skills, gain confidence and build a brighter future. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of staff and other volunteers, and to make a real impact on the lives of young people in Lancashire.
