This campaign brings together charities, grassroots organisations, businesses, and communities across the UK with one shared mission: to inspire hope through kindness, action, and positive change.

For us, this isn’t just a campaign. It reflects everything Genuine Futures stands for.

Why This Matters to Genuine Futures

Every day, we work with young people who have often lost trust in systems, services, and sometimes even themselves.

Many of the young people we support have experienced:

• School exclusion
• Homelessness or unstable housing
• Poverty and disadvantage
• Mental health struggles
• Isolation and loneliness
• The criminal justice system
• Long-term unemployment
• Being labelled instead of listened to

Too many young people today feel forgotten.

At Genuine Futures, we believe every young person deserves opportunity, belonging, purpose, and someone who believes in them.

Turning Hope Into Action

Joining A Million Acts of Hope is about more than signing up to a campaign. It’s about continuing to take meaningful action in our communities.

Through programmes like Boss Your Future, we support young people aged 15–24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) to rebuild confidence, develop skills, and create brighter futures.

We don’t just talk about change — we create real-world opportunities through youth-led enterprise, community projects, and practical experiences.

We Shine Any Car

A community car wash and valeting enterprise designed to build confidence, employability skills, teamwork, and entrepreneurial experience.

Clean Futures

A youth-led external cleaning enterprise helping young people gain practical work experience while making a visible difference in local communities.

Youth-Led Social Action

From community clean-up events to local outreach and public engagement, we empower young people to become leaders in their own communities.

These projects are about much more than employment.

They’re about restoring self-belief.

One of the biggest challenges facing society today is disconnection.
