A Proud Milestone for Genuine Futures
We are delighted to announce that Genuine Futures CIC has officially become a Full Member of Bolton CVS.
This recognition marks an important milestone in our journey and reflects the positive impact being made through our work with young people, families, communities, volunteers, and partners across Bolton and Greater Manchester.
As an organisation dedicated to supporting young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), care-experienced young people, and those facing barriers to opportunity, becoming part of the wider Bolton CVS network strengthens our ability to create lasting change.
Working Together for a Better Bolton
At Genuine Futures, we believe that strong communities are built through collaboration.
Every day, we work alongside local businesses, schools, community groups, charities, and public sector organisations to help young people develop confidence, skills, purpose, and pathways into brighter futures.
By joining the Bolton CVS membership community, we become part of a powerful network of organisations committed to improving lives and strengthening communities throughout Bolton.
This membership creates opportunities to:

- Share knowledge and best practice.
- Access training and development opportunities.

Supporting Young People Through Opportunity
Genuine Futures was founded from lived experience.
We understand the challenges many young people face because we have lived them ourselves.
Too many young people continue to experience:
- School exclusion.
- Unemployment.
- Homelessness.
- Poor mental wellbeing.
- Lack of trusted adults.
- Involvement with the criminal justice system.
Rather than focusing on problems, we focus on solutions.
Through programmes including Boss Your Future, R.E.S.T.O.R.E. Young Futures, Clean Futures, and We Shine Any Car, we help young people build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to move forward positively.
Our approach is simple:
Listen first. Build trust. Create opportunities. Support progression.
Strengthening the VCSE Sector in Bolton
Bolton is home to an incredible voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector.
Across the borough, organisations are working tirelessly to support residents, improve wellbeing, reduce inequalities, and create opportunities.
We are proud that Genuine Futures can now contribute even more strongly to this collective effort.
As a youth-led social enterprise, we bring a unique perspective rooted in lived experience, prevention, and early intervention.
We believe that investing in young people today prevents crisis tomorrow.
That means focusing on:
- Early intervention.
- Trusted adult relationships.
- Enterprise education.
- Employability skills.
- Community engagement.
- Youth voice and participation.
These are the foundations that help young people thrive.

Boss Your Future
Supporting young people aged 15–24 to develop enterprise, employability, and life skills while exploring positive futures.
R.E.S.T.O.R.E. Young Futures
Helping younger people who are at risk of becoming disengaged from education or employment to rebuild confidence, resilience, and aspirations.
Clean Futures
A youth-led social enterprise delivering environmental services while creating training and employment opportunities.
We Shine Any Car
A practical enterprise project that gives young people hands-on experience, work-based learning, and real-world business skills.
Our ambition is simple:
To ensure that every young person, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to opportunities that help them succeed.
