Bridging The Employment Skills Gap To Opportunity For Young People Across Salford
Posted on:
Imagine the impact of creating meaningful career pathways and opportunities for our young people and helping them bridge the gap, making young people a vital part of every workforce.
Genuine Futures, in partnership with Entrepreneurs Unlocked and Salford City Council, will be delivering the ‘Unlocking your Potential’ signature programme as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Through a blend of research and pilot programmes, the initiative aims to strengthen the support available to young people aged 16-24 not in education employment or training (NEET) across the Salford City region.
By highlighting best practices and testing innovative approaches, Unlocking Your Potential is dedicated to improving opportunities for young people.
Through working collaboratively together, stakeholders are committed to creating a brighter, genuine, more sustainable future for young people and our communities across Salford. However, they need access to the tools, education, and opportunity to make the change.
Our offerings include personal development and wellbeing support, coaching and guidance, career guidance and entrepreneurship education designed to meet diverse needs and overcome challenges.
In addition, Unlocking Your Potential aims to create a cohesive support network across the region.
We will build on our partnerships to engage with Salford based businesses and offer meaningful work experience opportunities to inspire, motivate and empower young people looking to enter the world of work.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available to businesses that either want to sponsor the programme or would like to get involved in supporting a young person.
