From Passion to Business: Brianna’s Cheesecake Journey

Posted on: 1st September 2025 | 3 min

At Genuine Futures, we believe every young person has the potential to turn their passion into a pathway. Through our Boss Your Future Bolton programme, we’re seeing that belief come to life in extraordinary ways — and Brianna’s story is a perfect example.

My reputation is built on the love of cheesecake

For Brianna, baking has never just been a hobby. It’s a love, a craft, and now a business. With an entrepreneurial spark and a passion for cheesecakes, Brianna has taken the bold step of launching her very own cheesecake venture.

Her words say it best:
My reputation is built on the love of cheesecake.

But Brianna’s vision goes beyond baking:

“I want people to taste my cheesecakes and know they’ve been made with care. For me, it’s about bringing people together, celebrating flavours, and creating something that makes people smile. This is more than a business — it’s my future.”

Empowering a Youth-Led Entrepreneurial Revolution in Bolton

Boss Your Future Bolton is more than a programme — it’s a movement. We are empowering a youth-led entrepreneurial revolution in Bolton, creating space for young people to innovate, experiment, and build businesses rooted in their talents and passions.

Mike Alleyne, Director of Genuine Futures, summed it up perfectly:

“Brianna’s story shows exactly why Boss Your Future exists. When young people are supported and encouraged, their creativity and drive can turn into real businesses. This isn’t just about cheesecake — it’s about showing Bolton, and beyond, that young people have the ideas and determination to build their own futures.”

A Taste of What’s to Come

You’ll have the chance to meet Brianna, hear her story, and of course, try her delicious cheesecakes at the pre-launch of our “We Shine Any Car” initiative in association with The Scrappers:

📍 Waterloo Street, Bolton
📅 Thursday 18th September
⏰ 10am – 4pm

It’s more than an event — it’s a showcase of what young people can achieve when their ideas are backed with belief and opportunity.

Why Partnerships Matter

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our partners. Genuine Futures is proud to work alongside:
• Recycle IT
• Entrepreneurs Unlocked
• Bolton CVS
• The Bolton Fund

Together, we’re creating real opportunities for young people to gain experience, build confidence, and launch their own ventures.

As Mike adds:

Partnership is the key. By working together, we’re showing that Bolton believes in its young people. Every business launched, every idea developed, is proof that we’re building something bigger — a movement that gives young people the future they deserve.

Why This Matters

Our mission is simple: to unlock potential and create futures worth fighting for. Brianna’s journey reminds us all that entrepreneurship doesn’t start with a business plan — it starts with passion, determination, and a chance.

By supporting Boss Your Future Bolton, you’re not just supporting programmes. You’re standing with young people like Brianna who are rewriting their stories, building businesses, and shaping the future of Bolton.

👉 Join us in celebrating and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. Because the revolution has already started — and it’s led by young people.
